Why is Skin Consultation important?

At Skincare Laser Clinics, we offer complimentary digital skin analyzing consultation.

Your experienced therapist will gain a deeper understanding of your skin and recommend a course of treatments that are both safe and effective for your skin. Your therapist will not only assess your skin, but also assess your lifestyle and well-being as the skin is influenced by so many intrinsic and extrinsic factors on a daily basis. These factors often include genetics, hormones, diet, sun exposure, medication, diet, climate, smoking, skincare and makeup.

What Observ Skin Analysis Can See?

How well do you really know your skin?

The skin is much more complex than what we can see with the naked eye - that's why we use the OBSERV® 520x for an in-depth skin analysis that view blemishes, fine lines, uneven skin tone and dryness in deeper layers of your skin.  

With advanced analysis technology, we can better understand your unique skin concerns to treat existing imperfections, and even address underlying concerns before they become visible.

What is the outcome of skin consultation?

After your complimentary skin consultation, your therapist will have a better understanding of your concerns and goals for your skin. We will discuss a treatment plan and home care products that will be suitable for you.

Treatment plans will be tailored for up to 3-12 months and then we will re-evaluate your skin and discuss another treatment plan if necessary. Our goal after the consultation is to get you started on treatments and products and make sure your goal has been satisfied.

 

 

Preparation

Ideally, you would thoroughly clean your skin 2 hours before your OBSERV® session, so by the time you arrive at the clinic your skin will be free of makeup/sunscreen/moisturizer or any other product that may interfere with the skin analysis process.

If you have light triggered epilepsy, are sensitive to flashing light, experience claustrophobia or have any cuts, abrasions or cold sores please let your therapist know and we will assist accordingly.

 

During Skin Analyzing

During the skin analyzing, a light will flash at the beginning of each photo. The OBSERV® Analysis takes less than a minute to complete. Then the Skin Consultation will take about 20-25 minutes.
