ULTRAFORMER III-HIFU
What is HIFU?
HIFU is short for High Intensity Focused Ultrasound.
HIFU target various layers of your skin, it is a medical procedure that allows the deepest penetration of energy for face lifting and skin tightening. HIFU can provide the same lifting and tightening effect as surgical facelift without having to undergo any surgery! It is commonly performed for non-surgical face lifting and skin tightening to achieve a face contouring, slimming and V shape. It has an immediate tightening effect by contracting the collagen fibres that support your skin. Most importantly, Ultraformer III-HIFU treatment stimulates long-term production of new, stronger collagen, helping to lift and tighten sagging skin and fill out wrinkles, without downtime.
Consistent Clinical Results: Patients can notice immediate results with progressive improvement up to 90 days post-treatment for peak results. These results can be maintained from 12-24 months afterwards.
Benefits
A single Ultraformer III-HIFU treatment will:
- Improve elasticity and firm up skin
- Provide treated areas with slimmer contours as the skin tightens
- Rejuvenate and strengthen your skin
- Tightening Sagging Skin
- Lifting and Firming Saggy Face
- Reducing Fine Lines and Wrinkles
- Melt Facial Fat and Remove Double Chin
- Improving Dark Eye Circles, Skin Tone and Texture
How does HIFU Works for Eyelids?
High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) is a non-invasive treatment that uses ultrasound energy to target the deeper layers of the skin, promoting collagen production and tightening the skin. For under-eye aging, HIFU can be an effective way to address concerns such as fine lines, wrinkles, and mild skin laxity.
Focused Ultrasound Energy: HIFU devices deliver focused ultrasound energy to specific depths of the skin under the eyes without affecting the surface. This energy generates heat, reaching layers that are typically addressed only with surgery.
Stimulating Collagen Production: The heat from ultrasound energy creates micro-injuries in the skin’s deeper layers, stimulating the body’s natural healing response. This healing process involves the production of new collagen, a protein responsible for skin firmness and elasticity.
Skin Tightening and Lifting: Over the following weeks and months, the increased collagen production leads to tighter, firmer skin under the eyes, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Benefits of ULTRAFORMER III-HIFU Face lift
One benefit of the HIFU Facelifty treatment is its non-invasive nature with minimal downtime. You can expect various skin benefits from HIFU which includes firmer, tighter skin, smooths out fine line wrinkles and a more defined face shape.

FAQs
HIFU (high-intensity focused ultrasound) treatments can produce noticeable results for eye rejuvenation, including:
- Reduced wrinkles: HIFU can reduce the appearance of wrinkles around the eyes, forehead, and lips
- Tighter skin: HIFU can tighten sagging skin around the eyes, cheeks, and eyelids
- Improved skin elasticity: HIFU can improve skin elasticity and density
- Reduced pore size: HIFU can reduce the number and volume of pores
- Lifted appearance: HIFU can create a more lifted appearance for the face
Many notice an immediate lifting effect around the eyes. After one month the effects of skin tightening are already visible, and after 3 months you can observe the full effect.
Yes, combining HIFU and Tixel can be highly effective for eye rejuvenation, as they complement each other well.
How They Work Together for Eye Rejuvenation
- HIFU: Targets deeper layers of the skin around the eyes, helping to lift and tighten the skin. This is useful for addressing sagging or drooping in areas like the upper or lower eyelid and brow area.
- Tixel: Works on the superficial layers of the skin, improving skin texture, fine lines, and wrinkles around the eyes. It’s gentle enough for use in delicate areas and helps smooth out crow’s feet, soften under-eye crepiness, and enhance skin quality.
Benefits of Combining HIFU and Tixel
- Comprehensive Rejuvenation: By addressing both deeper and surface-level skin concerns, this combination can result in more noticeable and longer-lasting eye rejuvenation.
- Dual Action on Collagen and Elasticity: HIFU boosts collagen deeper down, while Tixel focuses on the surface, improving elasticity and texture.
- Minimal Downtime with Enhanced Results: Tixel has minimal downtime, and HIFU is non-invasive. Together, they provide a potent combination without significant recovery time.
Treatment Planning: For best results, it’s generally recommended to space treatments a few weeks apart to allow the skin to recover and benefit from each modality. HIFU can be performed first to lift, followed by Tixel after a few weeks to refine texture and tone. Always ensure a customized approach based on skin type, individual needs, and tolerances, as some patients may respond di
-
One session
One session of HIFU eye treatment is usually enough, but a second session may be needed for puffier eye bags.
-
Maintenance treatments
Most clients are satisfied with one treatment, but may book maintenance treatments every 3–6 months.
HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound) and Tixel are both non-invasive skin treatments but use different technologies and have different effects on the skin.
HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound)
- Technology: Uses focused ultrasound energy to penetrate deep into the skin layers without damaging the surface. This energy stimulates collagen production by heating tissue in targeted areas.
- Depth: Reaches deeper layers of the skin, targeting the SMAS layer (Superficial Muscular Aponeurotic System), which is also addressed in surgical facelifts.
- Primary Use: Effective for skin tightening, lifting, and contouring, particularly on the face, neck, and décolletage.
- Results: Gradual improvement in skin firmness and tightness, typically seen over 2-3 months as new collagen forms.
Tixel
- Technology: Uses thermal energy through a heated metal plate with tiny pyramids that briefly contact the skin, creating micro-channels. It is similar to fractional lasers but without light or radiation.
- Depth: More customizable as it works on more superficial skin layers and can vary in depth, making it suitable for sensitive areas like around the eyes.
- Primary Use: Effective for skin resurfacing, improving skin texture, treating fine lines, wrinkles, and pigmentation issues. It’s also used for drug delivery by allowing serums or other treatments to penetrate more deeply.
- Results: Visible improvements in skin texture and tone can often be seen more quickly, with minimal downtime.
Summary
- HIFU: Best for deep lifting and firming.
- Tixel: Best for superficial skin resurfacing, eye rejuvenation, texture improvement, and fine lines.
Each can be chosen depending on the patient’s needs—HIFU for tightening and lifting, and Tixel for texture and tone enhancement. They may also be complementary when combined in a treatment plan. The combination of Tixel and HIFU for an eye lift procedure offers a comprehensive approach to skin rejuvenation.
• The degree of heat required for optimal results will probably cause some discomfort as the ultrasound energy is delivered. Your practitioner will advise a plan to optimize your comfort during the procedure. This may include medication to reduce the discomfort.
• Ultraformer treatment is highly efficient. For example, a treatment for the full face and neck will last approximately 45 minutes.
• Because Ultraformer is a non-invasive treatment, you can expect to be able to return to your normal routine right away.
• Your skin may appear red for a few hours after Ultraformer treatment.
• You may experience slight swelling, tingling or tenderness for a few days after treatment. Rarely, some patients may experience temporary bruising, welts or numbness.
• There is a slight risk of a burn to the skin, which may or may not lead to scarring. Both a burn and any scarring will respond to medical treatment.
• Temporary nerve inflammation will resolve in a few days or weeks.
• If a motor nerve has become inflamed, you might experience some temporary local muscle weakness. There could be some temporary numbness if a sensory nerve has become inflamed.
However, due to Ultraformer’s precision engineering, it is highly unlikely that either of these complications will occur.
