BIO-REMODELLING & PDO THREADS

What is Bio-remodelling?

Bio-remodelling is a type of injectable treatment used for skin rejuvenation and hydration. It is made of hyaluronic acid, which is a natural substance found in the body that helps to maintain hydration and elasticity of the skin. Bio-remodelling contains a high concentration of hyaluronic acid, which is injected into the skin to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. The treatment involves injecting the product in multiple points on the face or body, using a special technique that distributes the product evenly.

The treatment is quick and relatively painless, with minimal downtime. Patients may experience some redness and swelling at the injection sites, but this usually resolves within 12 hours.

The results of Bio-remodelling treatment can be seen within a few weeks after the initial treatment, with further improvement over time. The treatment helps to improve the overall texture, hydration, and elasticity of the skin, resulting in a more youthful and refreshed appearance.

Bio-remodelling is often recommended for patients who are experiencing signs of aging such as fine lines, wrinkles, and loss of skin elasticity, as well as those who have dry or dehydrated skin. It is a non-surgical alternative to other skin rejuvenation treatments such as dermal fillers or surgical facelifts.

How many treatments do I need?

The number of treatments necessary to achieve the desired result can vary depending on the type of treatment, the severity of the condition being treated, and the individual's response to the treatment. It is recommended to start with 2 treatments 4 weeks apart.

What are PDO Threads?

PDO (Polydioxanone) thread is a type of absorbable suture material that is commonly used in surgical procedures. In recent years, PDO threads have become popular in the field of aesthetic medicine as a non-surgical facelift treatment.

PDO threads used in cosmetic procedures are thin, dissolvable threads that are inserted into the skin using a needle. The threads create a scaffolding effect that supports sagging skin, resulting in a more youthful and rejuvenated appearance. PDO threads stimulates collagen production, which can improve the overall texture and tone of the skin.

The procedure typically takes around 30-60 minutes and is performed under topical anesthesia. Patients may experience some swelling and bruising for a few days following the treatment, but this generally resolves within 2 weeks. The results of PDO thread treatment can last for up to 1 year, depending on the individual's skin and lifestyle factors.

PDO threads are commonly used to treat various areas of the face.
